Las Águilas del América y la Máquina de Cruz Azul repiten la Final de Liga MX del Clausura 2013 y en la misma fecha en búsqueda de su título número 15 o 10, respectivamente.
América and Cruz Azul will play in the Final of the Clausura 2024, eleven years after their legendary showdown in one of Liga MX's most epic matches.
The first leg will take place at 8pm (Mexico time) at Estadio Azul, with the second leg scheduled for Sunday at 7pm (Mexico time) at Estadio Azteca.
Las Águilas enter as the top seed, although this status offers no advantage in the Final; if the aggregate score is tied after both legs, extra time and penalty kicks will determine the champion.
Cruz Azul finished second in the standings with 33 points, just two points behind América, and will play a Liga MX Final at Estadio Azul (Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes) for the first time since the ill-fated Clausura 2013.
A victory for América would secure their 15th Mexican league title, further cementing their dominance in Liga MX, while a win for Cruz Azul would bring them their 10th title, tying them with Toluca.
