The video, aired by CNN, has emerged following allegations made by Ms. Ventura about her former boyfriend and producer in a lawsuit filed last year.
While Ms. Ventura has not commented directly, her lawyer stated that the footage confirms "the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs."
A lawyer representing Mr. Combs has yet to respond to a request for comment from the BBC.
It's important to note that the BBC has not independently verified the video, which appears to be a compilation of surveillance footage from various angles dated March 5, 2016.
As reported by CNN, the video was recorded at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
The footage depicts Ms. Ventura leaving a hotel room and proceeding toward a bank of elevators.
A shirtless individual, identified as the man, is observed hastily making his way down a hallway while holding a towel around his waist.
Upon reaching Ms. Ventura, he seizes her and forcefully throws her to the ground, resulting in her dropping some luggage.
He proceeds to kick her while she is on the ground, then retrieves her bags and kicks her again before attempting to drag her by her shirt.
After a brief departure, the assailant returns and forcefully shoves Ms. Ventura as she stands up. He then takes a seat in a nearby chair and hurls an object.
In response to the footage, Douglas Wigdor, a lawyer representing R&B singer Ms. Ventura, stated: "The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."
The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced on Friday that the assault captured in the video might be too old to prosecute.
