Will Ferrell brings back Ron Burgundy, while Ben Affleck delivers sharp jabs at critical Patriot fans during Tom Brady's Netflix roast.

At Netflix's live event in Los Angeles, actor Will Ferrell stole the show by appearing as his beloved character Ron Burgundy from "Anchorman." Amidst the roast of Tom Brady, Ferrell injected humor into the evening's banter. He playfully targeted Brady's NFL counterpart, Eli Manning, the former quarterback for the New York Giants, with a quip: "You don’t see Eli Manning here tonight, do you? That’s because Tom’s afraid of Eli Manning." Ferrell then led the audience in a spirited chant of "Eli Manning made Tom Brady his 'bitch,'" eliciting a mix of boos and enthusiastic participation.

Ferrell didn’t hesitate to tease Brady's former Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, with witty jabs such as, "Hey Bill, wherever you are, just know it was Tom, not you," and a lighthearted reference to Belichick's current job situation, "Bill, now that you’re currently unemployed, good luck on ZipRecruiter."

Following that, Ferrell introduced Belichick, who joined in to rib his star quarterback and teammates onstage.

Later in the evening, it was Ben Affleck's turn to take the stage and roast the "GOAT."

The Academy Award winner, renowned for his devotion to Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees and the New England Patriots, artfully balanced his allegiances while teasing his favorite NFL quarterback.

Entering to a thunderous standing ovation, Affleck quipped, “I’m just in time. This is pretty freaking ballsy of you.”

Affleck's deep-rooted passion for the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees (stemming from his Quincy, Mass. roots) is well-documented. Now retired and celebrated as one of football’s greats, Brady has shared the screen with Affleck and his close pal, Oscar-winner Matt Damon, in Dunkin’ commercials.

Affleck didn’t shy away from poking fun at the Patriots' fandom, known for their scrutiny of decisions made throughout Brady’s career and the team’s legacy. “You’re not fans. You're a piece of work.”

While not abundant in humor, Affleck aimed some witty, pointed jabs at Coach Belichick: “I got season tickets. You work for me, buddy.”

As host Kevin Hart took over the stage post-Affleck, he quipped, “Another slice of white boy humor,” with Roastmaster Jeff Ross chiming in, “This is the first time I wish Netflix had commercials.”
